How to use
- Choose your sheet. Select the Avery (or compatible) product code printed on your label box — 5160 and L7160 are the most common address labels. For other brands pick Custom and enter the page size, label size, margins and gaps from the packaging.
- Add content. Use the same text on every label, paste a list of addresses separated by blank lines, or generate sequential numbers with a prefix and zero-padding. Set the font, size and alignment, and use "Start at label #" to skip labels already peeled off a partly used sheet.
- Download or print. Download PDF gives you a file laid out to exact geometry; open it and print at 100% scale (turn off "fit to page"). The Print button prints the preview directly with the correct page size.
FAQ
My labels print slightly off. What should I check?
Almost always this is the printer scaling the page. In the print dialog choose "Actual size" or 100% and turn off "Fit to page" or "Shrink to fit". Also make sure the paper size selected in the driver matches the sheet (Letter for 5160-series, A4 for L7160-series). Test on plain paper first and hold it against a label sheet.
Which template is Avery 8160?
Avery 8160 has exactly the same layout as 5160: 30 labels of 2⅝ × 1 inch on a Letter sheet, three columns by ten rows. 8160 is the inkjet version, 5160 the laser version. Both entries are in the list.
Can I print on a sheet where some labels are already used?
Yes. Set "Start at label #" to the first unused position (counting left to right, top to bottom). Those positions are left blank and shown hatched in the preview. Note that many printer manufacturers advise against feeding partially used sheets more than once because the adhesive can gum the rollers.
Can I use a different font or add a logo?
The PDF uses the standard Helvetica, Times and Courier fonts because they are built into every PDF reader and print identically everywhere. Logos and custom fonts are not supported in this version; for a graphic label, print the text here and add the image with a label design app.
